The blooms are bi-coloured, typically combining rosy-pink and creamy white petals with contrasting markings inside, held aloft on slender stems above lush, lance-shaped basal foliage. The foliage is fresh and mid-green, forming a low mound that remains attractive before and after flowering, adding texture and form to woodland or shaded garden edges.
