Hosta 'Glory Hallelujah' - 2026

Hosta ‘Glory Hallelujah’ is a striking large perennial that forms a broad, rounded clump of thick, corrugated foliage with excellent ornamental value. The leaves emerge with a blue-green centre and a wide margin that appears chartreuse in spring, gradually brightening to golden yellow through the season. The heavy leaf substance, glaucous (waxy) coating, and pronounced corrugation give the plant strong texture, making it a standout in shaded or bright shade garden beds. As a reverse sport of ‘Paul’s Glory’, its dramatic leaf contrast offers seasonal interest, and it is prized for both visual impact and durability.

In mid-summer, ‘Glory Hallelujah’ produces pale lavender flowers on tall scapes rising above the foliage, which add vertical interest and attract pollinators.
