Hosta 'Robert Frost' - 2026

Hosta ‘Robert Frost’ is a majestic clump-forming perennial valued for its dramatic foliage and stately presence. The leaves emerge in spring with a frosty blue-green hue edged in gold-yellow, later softening to cream-white margins. They are thick, undulated and puckered, giving strong texture and a regal appearance. In mid-summer, pale near-white, lightly scented flowers rise above the foliage, adding both height and seasonal interest while supporting pollinators.

This variety prefers fertile, moist but well-drained soil, and does best in partial shade or spots that receive gentle morning sun. Sheltered from cold, drying winds, it maintains leaf contrast well. It’s fairly easy to grow though its size means it requires space; regular moisture and slug protection help it remain its best.
