Hosta 'Sherborne Swift' - 2026

Hosta ‘Sherborne Swift’ is a compact and elegant perennial, prized for its intense blue foliage and refined habit. The lance-shaped leaves are deeply veined and thick, forming a dense mound that adds texture and colour to shaded or partially shaded gardens. In mid to late summer, pale lavender flowers appear on tall scapes above the foliage, providing vertical interest and attracting pollinators.

This cultivar thrives in moist, fertile, well-drained soil and prefers partial shade to full shade. Resistant to verticillium wilt and low-maintenance once established, it is excellent for small borders, woodland gardens, or as a specimen where its colour and compact form can be appreciated.
