Monarda 'Purple Lace' - 2026

Monarda ‘Purple Lace’ is a compact and charming perennial that brings delicate colour and texture to UK gardens. From mid-summer through early autumn it bears clusters of pinkish-purple, two-lipped tubular flowers with darker centres, creating a soft but striking display above lush, aromatic, mid-green foliage. The neat clump-forming habit and moderate size make it suitable for borders, containers or mixed planting schemes without overwhelming its neighbours. It shows decent resistance to powdery mildew, especially when planted in a position with good airflow and soil that does not stay waterlogged.
