Nepeta × faassenii 'Dropmore', commonly known as Dropmore Catmint, is a robust and aromatic perennial that thrives in UK gardens. This cultivar is a hybrid between Nepeta faassenii and Nepeta grandiflora, developed in Canada to withstand harsh conditions, including cold winters and dry summers. It forms a low, bushy mound of grey-green, aromatic foliage, emitting a pleasant scent when brushed or crushed. From late spring to early autumn, it produces an abundance of small, tubular blue flowers that attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies, making it a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly gardens.
