Allium cristophii Bulb

Allium cristophii, commonly known as Star of Persia, is a striking ornamental onion renowned for its large, spherical umbels of silvery lilac to pale violet star-shaped flowers. Blooming in late spring to early summer, these impressive flower heads can reach up to 20–25 cm (8–10 inches) in diameter, creating a dramatic focal point in borders, rock gardens, and mixed perennial beds. The plant's strap-shaped, gray-green leaves emerge in spring but typically wither as the flowers begin to bloom, allowing the spectacular inflorescences to take center stage.
