Care
The Prunus Regina is easy to maintain and does not require much special care. Plant the tree preferably in a sunny to partially shaded spot and water it regularly, especially during drier periods. Pruning is best done right after harvest, in July or August, and possibly lightly in May to maintain its shape. The tree is winter hardy and perennial, offering many years of pleasure and harvest. Fertilize in spring for optimal growth and abundant fruit set. By pruning and thinning annually, the tree stays healthy and vigorous. This fruit tree is non-toxic and suitable for families with children or pets. A real asset for garden enthusiasts who love to enjoy their own cherries.

Recycled Growing Media
At Lincs Plants, we’re proud to use a recycled, peat free growing mix that’s made right here in Lincolnshire. It’s made from coir with around 20% silt loam added in.
The coir keeps the mix light and free draining, while the silt loam adds structure and helps hold moisture and nutrients. By recycling used media and using locally sourced materials, we cut down on waste and reduce the need for imported peat based composts.
This home grown mix is part of our commitment to sustainable growing and supporting local production wherever possible.
At Lincs Plants, we operate from two main locations. When you place an order, we prepare and pack plants across both sites depending on what you’ve ordered.
Site 1 – Packing and Distribution

Site 2 – Growing Site

Fruit trees
We start processing orders each morning at 8am.
Orders that include items from Site 2 are dispatched the following day.
Orders that only include items from Site 1 are usually dispatched the same day.
During our peak periods, we can process up to 3,000 orders a day across multiple departments. Each department either supports a main packing team or packs orders directly.
We have five collections a day, so orders can leave throughout the day as soon as they’re ready.
During busy times, if we experience any delays, we’ll post updates on our social media and website to give everyone a heads up. This helps keep customers informed if there’s likely to be a delay of a few days.
