Considerations
- Pests: Monitor for common pests like aphids and spider mites; treat infestations promptly with appropriate measures.
- Invasiveness: Generally not invasive, but in optimal conditions, it can spread. Regular maintenance can manage its growth.

Recycled Growing Media
At Lincs Plants, we’re proud to use a recycled, peat free growing mix that’s made right here in Lincolnshire. It’s made from coir with around 20% silt loam added in.
The coir keeps the mix light and free draining, while the silt loam adds structure and helps hold moisture and nutrients. By recycling used media and using locally sourced materials, we cut down on waste and reduce the need for imported peat based composts.
This home grown mix is part of our commitment to sustainable growing and supporting local production wherever possible.
