It is well suited to rock gardens, gravel beds, dry walls, edging paths and the front of sunny borders, and also does well in containers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGrow in full sun in well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil; it copes with poor, dry conditions but not with heavy, wet ground over winter. Fully hardy (RHS H6). Shear lightly after the first flush of flowers to keep plants neat and prompt further blooms into late summer. The flowers attract butterflies and other pollinators.
