It is ideal for the front of a border, lightly shaded beds, woodland edges and spring containers alongside bulbs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGrow in partial shade in moist but well-drained, reasonably fertile soil; it is hardy to RHS H5. The foliage can die back in summer after flowering, so plant it among later perennials that will fill the gap. Deadhead to tidy plants, and divide congested clumps in autumn or early spring.
