Growing to about 50cm, it suits the front of sunny borders, containers and prairie-style planting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlant in full sun in well-drained soil; once established it tolerates dry spells but dislikes winter waterlogging. Deadhead to extend flowering, or leave the last flowers to form seed heads for birds and winter structure. Cut back old stems in late winter or early spring. Coneflowers are excellent for bees and butterflies.
