The blooms feature a greenish-yellow centre that transitions to lavender-pink tips, creating a vibrant contrast. Each flower measures approximately 18 cm across and is held on scapes reaching 75 cm in height. This cultivar is part of the spider daylily category, characterised by its elongated, narrow petals. It often produces a second flush of blooms towards the end of summer, extending its flowering period.

'String Bikini' thrives in full sun and is fully hardy, making it suitable for various garden settings. It is also known to attract pollinators, adding to its appeal in wildlife-friendly gardens.
