1. Size and Form : Hemianthus callitrichoides is a small, carpeting plant that typically grows to a height of 1-3 centimeters (0.4-1.2 inches). It forms a dense, lush carpet across the substrate.
2. Leaves : The leaves are tiny and bright green, with a round or oval shape. They are arranged in opposite pairs along the stem.
3. Growth Pattern : It has a creeping growth pattern and spreads horizontally across the substrate, creating a carpet-like appearance.
4. Lighting : HC Cuba requires high to very high lighting conditions to thrive. Providing sufficient light is crucial for its growth and vibrant coloration.

Plants are incubated in a solution of 0.01% of the insecticide Buprafezin for one hour (Please do not just drop these in a shrimp tank or with any other crustacean. To use these within a tank please wash in water with baking soda under light. These are treated to remove the insecticide but there are cases where this has not been fully removed causing casualty's in crustacean. (Any issues please contact us we will sort ASAP)
