Hosta 'Hadspen Blue' is a distinguished perennial renowned for its striking steel-blue foliage. This cultivar is part of the Tardiana Group, developed by Eric Smith in the 1970s, and is celebrated for its rich blue colour that persists throughout the growing season.

In mid to late summer, it produces pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers on upright scapes, attracting pollinators like hummingbirds and butterflies. 'Hadspen Blue' thrives in moist, well-drained, organically rich soil and prefers partial to full shade, though it can tolerate some morning sun.
