It suits shady borders, woodland gardens and large containers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHostas grow best in partial to full shade in moist, fertile, humus-rich soil, although this one flowers more freely with a few hours of sun. It is fully hardy. Mulch in spring and protect new shoots from slugs and snails. Cut back the foliage once it dies down in autumn, and divide clumps in spring.
