It is a more compact plant than its sister Gemini, forming a tidy clump of dark green leaves, and suits the front to middle of a sunny border, containers and cutting.

Grow in full sun in any reasonably fertile, well-drained soil, including chalk and clay that does not sit wet in winter. It is hardy in most UK gardens. Deadhead regularly to keep flowers coming over a long period, cut the stems back once flowering ends, and lift and divide clumps every few years in spring to keep them vigorous. The open daisies are visited by bees, hoverflies and butterflies.
