Use it as ground cover at the front of a border, in containers and hanging baskets, or to soften the edges of raised beds.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGrow in sun or partial shade in moist but well-drained soil; the leaf colour is richest in good light. It is semi-evergreen but only hardy in milder parts of the UK (similar dark-leaved forms are rated RHS H3), so give it a sheltered spot, move container plants under cover in winter, or treat it as seasonal bedding. Trim straggly stems in spring to keep it compact.
