Rotala sp. 'Vietnam', commonly referred to as Vietnamese Rotala, originates from Vietnam. It typically grows to a height of 10-30 cm (4-12 inches). This plant thrives under moderate to high lighting conditions and benefits from supplemental CO2 for optimal growth. It's considered moderately challenging to cultivate. Ideally placed in the midground to background of the aquarium, it prefers soft to moderately hard water with a pH range of 6-7.5 and a temperature of 22-28°C (72-82°F). The plant is known for its slender, reddish stems and narrow leaves. Regular pruning can promote denser growth for a lush appearance.

Plants are incubated in a solution of 0.01% of the insecticide Buprafezin for one hour (Please do not just drop these in a shrimp tank or with any other crustacean. To use these within a tank please wash in water with baking soda under light.
